I am at the beaver dam and have gone left to the tar river. I do not know where the lava river is so I can throw in some bones and extinguish the beavers. Four of them per the walkthrough. When I throw a bone into the tar river the fire beaver jumps in and I wait for the beaver screams but nothing happens. Where is the lava river. Thanks Footprints

Maybe looking at this video walkthrough for the beaver puzzle will help. It's apparently one of the trickier sequences in the game.

The video Marian linked to is great... but the lava river is on the path to the left. And I believe it is 3 demon beavers, not 4.

I have just gone to the morgue and had Naranga declared dead so I can get on boat. Now according to walkthru I have to give Union Book to sea bees. The problem is I don't remember a Union Book so far in the game. Please tell me where it is so I can continue. Thanx footprints.

Hi, I merged your new Grim Fandango question with your previous Grim Fandango question. If you can keep all of your questions about this game in this one thread, it will make it easier to follow along with your progress.

In the walkthroughs that I looked at, union card was mentioned but not union book, so I am uncertain as to the answer to your question.

Let's wait for someone who has played the game - hopefully they will be able to help.

I show the union card to the sea bees and nothing happens. There is supposed to be a fight and someone gets arrested. The walkthru calls for a union book not card. thanx footprints
