Your best bet its to go to the vet. Just like several others have said, older cats have special needs. High protein feed is not necessarily the best, especially if there are kidney issues going on. The vet can prescribe specific (feed or meds) after examining them.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. He seems a lil better today than yesterday, he was up and around meowing, waiting for breakfast, gave him tuna again.  I'm beginning to think it was the 9 lives cat food, maybe he got a bad can? We have 3 cats, so its hard to tell who drinks and who's peeing in the litter.  I'll be staying home with him again today.

I hope he continues to improve TLC but I still would visit the Vet just to be sure.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

He seems fine this morning, just like his old self. Just wish we could fatten the old boy up. I really appreciate all of the prayers, well wishes and advice.  PS. He even tried to steal Scoop's food.  PPS. He's now even laying by me, being his pushy self for lovin.
