Oh, believe me, strong words were definitely trying to burst out but I thought I'd better hold 'em in and stick with "Phew" in public !!

The saga continues and I still don't have my boxed game The latest is that on visiting the Kickstarter site for messages, I was informed I couldn't be emailed by Mr. Blackthorne because my email address was not useable. So would I please update it upon which I would be sent a test email. In response, I didn't "update" anything because there is nothing wrong with my email address. I just indicated that I would like to be sent a test email - which I received and to which I replied - all using my normal email address - which is the one they said wasn't useable !! I realise this might all be getting rather boring for Gameboomer members to read but I'm charting these ridiculous "goings on" publicly because they are disgraceful and should be made known

Marian, did you get your item?
Mad, sorry this is still ongoing. Have you left feedback on KS?

Marian, did you get your item? Yes, I did - I think the seller was quite embarrassed when he realized his mistake. I still don't know why he thought my postal address was invalid.

Finally, another update .... Here is what came ....
"A quick update from Steve - The rewards are all in, at my house - I had hired someone to help me assemble them for shipping and send them out - long story short, they basically went AWOL, and I've been swamped - not only working on the new game, but I'm expecting my first child in early December, so things have been crazy at my home. They're coming, but it's taking longer than I'd like - I really, really sincerely apologize - getting these things out is so important to me, and I'm spread so thin these days. I promise everyone will get their items, and I want to reassure people that it's happening. It's hard because it's just me, at the moment, who can work on packaging and posting them.
I'm very, very sorry - seriously, this is giving me an ulcer, because this part means a lot to me - the items look great, but they don't look good taking up space in my house! I want them in your hands - so, please, I ask just a little patience and I try to hustle up on this. Going to try and get some more help here in the next couple weeks, and we'll be sending out packages - I'll be taking photos and posting them so you can see them going out.
I really appreciate your support, and your continued patience and support. This project has been a labor of love for all of us, and I definitely have a great appreciation for the major operations that packaging and distributing companies are!"

I'm not sure whether that kind of info gets posted, Marian You could probably figure out an approximation. Google "quest for infamy" site:kickstarter.com Copy the result into archive.org and choose an old version of the webpage that lists Pledges and number of backers. You get something like ***this page***Add up the number of backers who pledged $35 or more, which is the minimum for the physical DVD version. 83+42+61+10+6+26+3+8+1+1+2+1+7+4+2+4+5+1+1+2+1=271 And then some packages are bigger and include physical stuff beyond the basic DVD, which makes things a bit more complicated.

Mad, I'm glad you heard something. That sort of experience is not unusual in my KS experience. Well it certainly shouldn't be, looney4labs, and I hope it never is again - for either of us !! Phew .... I'm glad you didn't ask me to dig around and sort out those figures, Jenny100. Kudos to you !!
