Ok I have a dumb question. I downloaded the new game and it runs but when I have Nigel get the candy and go outside, he doesn't do anything. I have Windows 7, does that mean I cannot play this game? Everyone has asked questions and not sure if this one was asked. I read the first bit of the walkthrough and want to figure it out myself, but there was nothing there in reference to this.

When you say that Nigel gets the candy and goes outside and then doesn't do anything, what do you mean exactly? Do you mean that you can't figure out what to do next? I just want to make sure I am understanding you correctly.

Hi Marian, yes that is correct. As I said, I went to the walkthrough to see what I was doing wrong. It said that Nigel was supposed to not give the candy and he turned around and went back in. You have the different symbols for picking up the candy, looking out the door, arrows as to direction, and the quarter "moon" symbol. There were no symbols or options as to what to do once outside the door. I hope that makes sense? When Nigel wakes, he gets up, picks up flyer, looks out window and sees kids. I can pick up the candy and go out but that is it. If I try to go upstairs, Nigel says he doesn't have to go to sleep yet. He won't go down the hall, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have reloaded the game many times and tried to do different things, but no luck.

If you look at the walkthrough here, you can choose to give the candy to the kids or not give it to them - either way, the game proceeds. Scroll down a bit further in the walkthrough and you will see what you can do if you do give them the candy; that should get you moving again.

Hi Shine I am having the same problem I checked on you tube and when Nigel walks outside to gave the candy to the kids there are sub titles on the left saying Trick or Treat and you have to pick one of them. On my game there are no sub titles and no inventory. I went back to the beginning of the game to options and it stated that the sub titles were on But in fact they are not. Baffled !!!!
Hope someone knows what I should do.

It might be your monitor setting.
It is recommended by the game to have: : Monitor should have a minimum height of 960 px.

Hi MaG. Yes it is the monitor My start bar is still there and a section down the right side. but I don't now how to change it.
Options only have sound and subtitles, the small screen at the beginning has no monitor reading, the full window screen action is not prominent and I cant tick it.
Shall I go to glitches?
