First off, here's
Necronomicon Navigational Map that might help you out at some point.
I think you can buy a map if you talk to Mr. Crumb at the grocery store..according to Tally's walkthrough.
Maybe you have to talk to him again after you pay for the matches. Mr. Crumb has to actually tell you you need a map before you can find them there and, according to what I've read, the maps should be on Crumb's left side somewhere.
