I played the game in win7 also.
As stated in my mail - check your "My Documents" folder.
Look for TBOUT-The Book of Unwritten Tales folder.

Thanks! I am running on Win7. I think I can just extract the game to BOUT folder in Documents and rename it to the last savegame#. I tried another savegame (version 1.01) and it crashes the bout.exe in Steam. I am hoping I can get this one to work. Any instructions would be appreciated.

I don't have any further instructions for this saved game, but maybe someone else will be able to help you.

Verify that your other saved game is in that folder you are placing it on.
It should not crash the Steam application file.
