Caesars are similar to bloody Mary's but with Vodka, clamato juice, then add a drop or two of tabasco & Worcestershire sauce. You rim the glass with celery salt or they have Caesar spice which I use. Garnish with a celery stick, then get happy LOL.
A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.

Egg Casserole. It's easy and foolproof. I've made it dozens of times and it always comes out perfect. I feel kind of funny quoting myself but I just wanted to say that right after writing the above, I had my first non-perfect outcome of the Egg Casserole. There was a lot of cooking going on at the pot-luck and someone put in a large tray chicken pieces to cook in "my" oven on a lower rack. It turns out that since my dish really is baked (contains flour and baking powder) that it doesn't bake properly if something else is in the oven with it. I imagine all of you that bake cakes and such already know this but wanted to mention it. Happy cooking and,

Sorry your casserole didn't turn out well! I had a similar fail at Christmas when hubby snuck something in a bottom rack. It does make a difference!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Mad, hope you are feeling better. Wow BobH, that casserole actually sounds really good. Reminds me a bit of a recipe that another member here gave me for a Green Chile "lasagna" that's basically repeated layers of tortillas, tomatoes, green chilies, and cheese. Love those peppers!

BobH, that makes a HUGE difference! The only way it might work is if it's a good convection oven, but even then it's much better to have the oven all to yourself for something like that.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Trail Mystic, I can't eat the chiles so always make it without. It's a bit on the rich side without them but tasty enough for me...I sure don't get any complaints. I have tried to think of other things to add that will cut the richness but haven't come up with anything I really like yet. One thing I've been meaning to add is some salsa on the side that people can add to taste. This year I added crumbled bacon as recommended on the web page and I liked what it added. I actually didn't even know this recipe was on the internet until now. It was my mother's recipe and who knows where she got it (long before there was an internet). When I thought of sharing it here I quickly found it via google.
