" Maneuver fast-paced action sequences to challenge your every gaming skill." I really LOVE Frogware's "Sherlock" games but this query by GreyFuss worries ME also Plus I am fervently hoping the game will be available from other sites than Steam .... However, thank you very much for the info, BrownEyedTigre

I add my concern over the "face-paced action sequences" Sure hope there are options if I am having difficulties completing the action.... would be a real shame if they ruin the Sherlock Holmes series for me!

On a good note, Frogwares has always given the adventure gamer options instead of going full gaming console action on us. They seem to remember the roots of their games and haven't forgotten about us.

So does this, from the blurb Ana posted... unique gameplay blending investigation, action and exploration for an extraordinary experience that will test the limits of players' nerves and intelligence. But maybe it only means you have a choice of doing things the "action" way or the "adventure" way, depending on how you want to play it. It would be nice if someone from Frogwares could come clarify whether those of us who have no manual dexterity whatever will be able to play and finish the game.

Thanks, Ana. Looks good, and hopefully the action won't be too difficult. Thanks for the information, thehood. Do you have an idea as to whether the action sequences are any harder or easier than a TellTale game? I find TellTale's action pretty easy to get through for the most part (though I do get try again screens from time to time ), so if it's on that level, I can handle it.

Hello Ladies and Gents,
it's true the game has more "action" than before, there is more than Crimes and Punishments, but it's less than a game based on skills. If you have some doubts it's for you, maybe some let's play videos could help you make your choice at the release time. I take that to mean that if you have no manual dexterity whatever, you won't be able to complete the game -- at least not without help from other players. So the next question is whether or not saved games will be transferrable.

Hi, remember there were action sequences in "The Awakened" already! Just to remind you - watch this this (First 5+ minutes). I'm counting on Frogwares to do it 'right' for us! Timo

Hi everyone, As far as I have played into the latest build of the game, it is possible to skip the "actiony" puzzles as soon as they begin, if that is the player's preference. I'm not 100% sure, however, if that option will still be there when the final version of the game is released, or if the player will be made to sweat it out for a while before they can skip. Hopefully it will be the former. Just as a heads-up: the specs for this game are slightly higher than those for Crimes and Punishments.
