I just watched the game play video - and it had text AND voice. And both seemed fine to me.

But am I to understand now that the finished product will not be "voiced" ??

So what you are saying is the game will have voices but you will be using "semi-professional" voice actors and any additional funds would be for replacing the semi-professional actors with professional ones? And if so will there be an option to not show the text if the voices are on?

Yes, that is what he's saying Greyfuss. As to the option to turn off the text, I do not know.

I was just going by Marvels comments from Feb 24th that started this whole voices discussion where it looked like voices would not be added unless more funds could be acquired.



I am anxious to play this game as I have been into the 200 year old mystery that is Oak Island for quite some time.

Is there a release date set for this game or is still sometime in the future? It looks interesting based on the website.

Ana, what does it mean when it says the game has "...10 or 20 hours of playing time, depending on funding level." ???

It sounds to me like the length of the game may possibly be dependent upon how much money they raise for it. Which makes sense to me.

I've always loved the Oak island mystery and an adventure/ point and click game sounds like my cup of tea!
