Sweet 'Boomies, I am asking for your prayers. One of my dearest friends, Sheila, discovered on this last Tuesday morning that she has a brain tumor the size of a softball. She has been experiencing speech, reading, and spatial difficulties recently and an MRI this last week discovered the tumor. She is being transferred, as I write this, to a major university hospital for the surgery. Your thoughts and prayers will be dearly appreciated.

Thank you, sweet 'Boomies, for all your thoughts and prayers. Wonderful news is that my friend's surgery was successful and she is now at home with family in the healing process. They are now waiting for word on whether or not she will need radiation treatment. She is an amazing woman and is taking things one day at a time.
