Thanks, Marian. Thanks, Oldman.
Did that do it, Debra?

Well, it's always been my contention that when I break down and ask for help on GB that's all it will take to solve my problem. I went back to the fire beam room and messed with the lamps again and voila! I solved it. How I don't know, but it worked and I am moving on. Thanks! Marian, I will go back and review your video link and bookmark it if I can understand it better than the other videos I've looked at. Right now I just want out of that room. Thank you for looking it up for me

I have done a half dozen playthroughs of this game and couldn't figure out why I had missed this particular area and after researching I finally learned that it is another add on that I had missed. After further research into the add on I've decided that I don't want to invest another $10 in the game.
Anyway, I'm glad you got it solved Debra and good luck.

Somehow both times I played through this DLC I managed to get through that puzzle by blind luck, but the second time took lots of clicking and many naughty words.
I thought this add-on was very good. I hadn't played it until I did my run-through of all Dragon Age games and DLC last Fall, and was pleasantly surprised by how long it was, and how much fun. Gotta love those extra abilities.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I am fighting Corypheus now and dying. Statistics are on my side, as in "even a blind chicken will pick up a grain of corn sometimes", so I plug on. These DLC episodes are much harder than the main game that's for sure. Thanks for the wish of luck Oldman. I'm going to use it on this battle with Corypheus!
