Am playing this game and enjoying it. However, the w/t says go upstairs. I can't get an arrow to do so. I feel as if I've done everything I need to. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Got upstairs (no arrow needed). Accomplished tasks; now have to go back downstairs and can't get any indication of how to do it. (I'm not criticizing the game or its developers); it's me. It's a good game and a lot of hard work went into it. Help, please! Thanks.
I just kept clicking and finally got back downstairs. Thanks.

Here I go again. Is there a way to contact Starlite Moon? I am stuck on the tea leaves puzzle. Thanks.

Other than clicking on her profile (you can do that via this thread) and sending her a PM, I don't have contact information for her. Maybe someone else will know more.

Starlite: Am playing and enjoying your game very much. However, am not at the tea leaves puzzle, and am completely stuck. Would appreciate any help you could give. Thank you!
StarLite: I figured it out. Thanks.

I'm having a problem entering the house. I've clicked on the keypad and try to enter the code I found in inventory, which is a 5 digit code. The game will only lets me enter 3 digits and then when I use the mouse on the "5" key it says try again. Then I can't leave the keypad.
Either I'm doing something wrong or there is a glitch.

Well, that was odd. I tried to help oldman, and my post completely vanished!
So, here I go again. Oldman: If you keep entering numbers, it will reset. I've found your cursor has to be very precise in a lot of areas or nothing happens. Once reset, press the buttons until you've entered the numbers (you should hear a beep-like sound; which I'm sure you know). Also, I found that when you go to use the manor key, you again, have to be in an exactly right position for it to work. Hopefully, this will help you.

I have installed and uninstalled this game about 6 times now. I used 7 zip to open it and then extracted everything. The weird thing is, I keep losing her voice. I can hear all the other sounds,--floors creaking, water dripping, but no voice. Any ideas anyone?

Doreen: I wish I could help, but didn't see anything in the "How to Play" section of the game. You might try sending a PM to StarLite Moon. Good luck!

Doreen Since no one else seems to be having this problem, it's probably due to something unique to your computer and the game engine (I think this game uses the AGS game engine). What antivirus or antispyware are you using? Could it be blocking the speech or quarantining the speech files? Have you tried adding the game's exe to your antivirus or antispyware's exceptions list? If you are using Windows 10, there could be a problem with immature sound card drivers that aren't handling multiple sources of sound properly. (As far as I can tell, the AGS game engine handles speech files differently from background sound.) In that case you'd have to play the game inside a virtual machine with an older version of Windows installed inside the virtual machine. Or simply play the game on an older computer -- if you have one.

Well, I'm back with a question. Am supposed to go to diningroom and put ouija board on the table. Don't see a table - only a hutch and fireplace.
Help? Thanks.

G'day fellow gamers. Sorry everyone is having so much trouble with this game. I guess I should have paid more attention to the stairs and the tea leaves when I wrote the wt. 1. Ok, tea leaves go by code order, you start at the tear drop and go clockwise. 2. Ouija board, when you are in the room with the hutch put the cursor on the right side, that's where the table is 3. There is no need to keep deleting the game and starting over. If you are losing voice that's a computer problem or else Windows, I have the same with commercial games. I always have to restart my computer a lot when playing those. Sorry there's nothing I can do about that 4. The keypad to the house, when you make a mistake you have to key the whole number back in. The hand cursor is very small which could cause the problem. It doesn't go by fingertip it goes by the thumb forefinger. I'm glad people are enjoying the game. I was going to give up making games but if people are enjoying them then maybe I'll keep making more. But not till I get the hang of coding. It makes me feel good that people are enjoying the game, thank you everyone for your wonderful comments. I'll keep checking to see if anyone has anymore problems. I was in a bit of a depression over this game since it got trashed so bad over at AGS. I should have known better, developers are the worst ones to try to please, but I make games for players not developers. Enjoy everyone

Thank you Starlite, since it was so close to the beginning I just started over and saved before the keypad and finally got the game to accept my input and am now in the house.
