I saw on some new computers at Best Buy that there is a new web browser by MicroSoft called Edge. Does anyone know about it? Does this mean Explorer will be replaced?

Edge is the default browser on all Windows 10 computers. It has a lot going for it, but I can't use it because it doesn't allow any add-ons or extensions. I use the Roboform password manager and with my aging memory, can't live without it! The next update is supposed to allow a few add-ons and extensions.
I must say this feature did allow a quick resolution in getting rid of a couple of very annoying browser hijackers on a couple of computers. Since Edge doesn't allow them, the Edge browser was not infected. I simply used Edge to get rid of the hijackers in the other browsers and all was well quickly. Can't remember what I had to do, but it definitely made the fix easier.
Although it is well-hidden, if you just can't get along with Edge, you can find IE in Windows 10 and add it to your taskbar. I've never liked IE and never use it, but it's there if I want it.

Another problem with Edge is that there's no option for a menu bar. ***picture with menu bar circled***Not everyone uses the menu bar, but I use it all the time and I need a browser that at least has the option to display a menu bar all the time -- and I don't mean clicking on the icon with the three horizontal lines and fishing through a confusing mess for what I'm looking for.

Yes, I found that out too, Jenny... I use the Menu Bar all the time because of the same thing. I don't want to use the hamburger menu to go where I already know I want to go.
It's another reason, I find myself going back to Firefox all the time.

Jenny - when I click on your link I'm getting a big red screen that says "this website has been reported as being unsafe". The picture is also at the web archive ***here***Does that also give a warning? The site hosting the picture in the original link, addictivetips.com , is a site that gives computer tips. A few people reported problems 4 or 5 years ago, though Norton Safeweb currently reports the site as OK https://safeweb.norton.com/reviews?url=addictivetips.com
