After avoiding doing anything to draw attention to myself about that horrible old house saga, I sent an email to Joe Little of KGTV Channel 10 San Diego who did the first two stories on the house when it was about Squatters. I thought he might be interested in seeing what it looks like all cleaned up and redone. He was thrilled. Wrote me an email at 10:30 and was here at 11:30 to do a story with ME. Oh dear! I'm going to be on TV tonight somewhere between 6-6:30pm Pacific Time. It won't be a long story, maybe 2-3 minutes but I'm going nuts wondering what I will look like and what I might have said that will sound totally stupid. Oh well. Joe Little, the news guy is so nice and good looking too. AND he's a hugger. Wowwiieee! Thanked me a ton for letting him know so he could do the follow up story. It better be good or I'm going to be totally embarrassed.

This is justice for all the grief you put up with Sorta. Congrats and please post a link for us.

I'm so glad they included some clips of what it was like before, especially the inside. I noticed that the original "bad gal" was included in one of them! I wonder what she thinks of "her" house now. You did great - very natural and you looked good too!

I must admit this was fun to do. Joe Little is such a NICE guy. Huggy, and always 'affectionate' when he talks to me. His last email after the fact was, "I love you so much!" He's really a great 'local interest' reporter. I don't think I've had so many hugs in years and he's TALL and got some meat on his bones. Ha. Fun.

So far no fall out from the story. I doubt the 'bad guys' even would have seen it. It might get around, and I'll check my emails and facebook, but I think I'm probably safe from any retaliation.

I love the way he did a little 'past story' insert. Made it so much more a drastic change. The AJX guys get free advertising, although the news lady kept saying it was selling for 'half a million'. I guess it's close. $469,900 didn't sound that close to me.

I really enjoyed the way he 'cut' the piece. We talked about a load of serious stuff and he decided to go with the one funny part where he fell over laughing. So cool.

I'm still watching over there. So far no onslaught of lookers, and I recorded on all my security cameras last night just in case something happened. He said if I get any 'good footage' let him know. I really expected Bad Gal to call me. She must be oblivious.

Another fun part was Joe dropping the microphone down my blouse. Ha. Lots of laughing and blushing and comments about that little trick. Got to be groped by a good looking guy.

Now I'm going to lay low for awhile. Hopefully my life will get very boring...then again, it never is.
