“A world is supported by four things: The learning of the wise, the justice of the great, the prayers of the righteous and the valor of the brave. But all of these things are as nothing, without a ruler who knows the art of ruling. Make that the science of your tradition!” ---------------- Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, from the novel Dune

Interesting. That's another game I got part way through and abandoned -- but I really enjoyed it. Once I'm finished my current game of Thief I might fire it up again and grab the mod, too. Of course, re-learning the controls while creeping around down in that dungeon might be really, really freaky and peaky...
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yes, petty darned scary -- but I think Call of Cthulhu was even worse. That one was creeeeepy. The hotel escape....brrrrrr. These days it's difficult for me to get freaked by a game because since our last move I no longer have my own office in a dank, dark basement. Now I have a desk in a sunny room looking out over the ocean. Of course, that's where Cthulhu lives...isn't it?
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

It is beautiful. We see whales all the time, and sea lions, dolphins, and seals. I thought I'd miss the city, but I don't, not at all. And now that I'm retired, I have much more time for gaming. Not so much money to buy games, of course, but I have so many already it hardly matters.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
