There is a walkthrough at guides.gamepressure.com, that seems to be ok (section: Maze and new shortcuts), but I cant get my game back to the point where it starts, having tried various things before consulting the walkthrough, meaning that my maze at this time does not look like the one in the walkthrough.

Can anyone explain to me how this puzzle works or even better-help me with a savefile ?

I have watched a number of videos trying to explain this puzzle, but none of them does that. I need to reset it to get back to the moment when I got there the very first time and then use the written walkthrough at gamepressure. At least that is what I think will work. Its hard to explain if you dont know the puzzle.

I certainly hope that those can be of help and that you can compare their pictures and the ones from the WT with yours.

I remember that when all four proper round turning plates where in place that it was still a long process going up and down the elevator to level 1 and -1, but at one point you will learn how to turn them properly.

Do not forget that you have three exits to work with, not counting the entry.

EDIT: I do not know how you can reset your game to the moment you got there, unless you still have a load game to download from a previous save and that you can replay from there and get to the elevator.
