Thanks, Ana. I bought it from GOG today and played some more. Luckily, it remembered where I left off after the demo, which I wasn't expecting. I won't have time to play much until the weekend, but at least a half an hour at a time is something. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Interrogator: [True or false?] All mangoes are golden. Nothing golden is cheap. Conclusion - all mangoes are cheap.
Helena: Where are these mangoes?

I agree opcvop. They don't appear to be skipable in the full game. I am an ex-librarian and have arthritic fingers so find lots of mouse dragging a bit painful. I wish devs would think about that when developing the interface. Just finished Yesterday Origins and had the same problem with that. However, the game is beautiful and, so far, not toooooo much of that balancing stuff. My only other criticism is that the cutscenes, although gorgeous, are a bit slow especially when you've just died or failed because you didn't make the right decision quickly enough (another grrrrr!). I'll let you know how things progress but, so far, don't dismiss it on that basis. Anyone who has read any of my posts knows I'm REEEEEALLY picky about this sort of thing!!!

Well I've finished this game. Rather disappointed actually. Graphics are beautiful but I think the game relied too heavily on this and not on the gameplay. I do NOT want to play balancing games and I most certainly do not want to play dot-to-dot!!! What's that all about?!?!? And while trying to fight a seeker, so requiring a bit of quick time mouse work! Sorry Daedalic. I have relied on this developer making the sort of games I want to play but if this is the direction in which they are going I'm not so sure.

It says like this on Daedalic´s support page at their FAQ for Silence ( http://www.daedalicsupport.com/en/games/silence/): "Every mini game offers an option to skip it. You can find that option in the bottom right corner." Maybe someone from Daedalic can solve this puzzle for us, I suppose they follow what happens in the Gameboomers forum, but I could be totally wrong about that ? They also have some savegames now: http://www.daedalicsupport.com/en/games/silence/savegames.html I have not downloaded them myself. I wont purchase the full game, until I am absolutely certain that I can get by those mini games. And it would be easier to do that with just a skip button.

Daedalic has links to our forum posts if we officially posted it, but I highly doubt the are watching it. YOu could write their support though. Ana

dianne, the same link I put in the first post for the free demo has an option to buy. It is a full game. I don't have time to look back on previous threads right now but I'm sure the keyboard question was answered in a previous thread. I think it's just like Whispered World was if you played that.

There is a skip option - but not in such places as balance mini-games. You can skip only some real puzzles unfortunately. I noticed that. They put the skips in the wrong places.

The only skip I could find was during the prayer wheel sequence and that was only to skip dialogue (the ONLY place where you could skip dialogue btw). It seems Daedalic underestimated the general dislike of the balancing parts altogether!!! Considering how long this game took to develop, it wasn't very well thought through. Have lessons been learned I wonder?
