I used to work in IT and have programming experience, but never for game development. Using photographs means I wouldn't have to do a lot of animation. I might download and take a look at it.

There's a tutorial in the engine, yes. And if you click on "resources" at the top of the page, there are more help there. There's a forum as well. If you have experience, I'm sure you can read it. As I understand it, it's a very good engine and you can do a lot of stuff when you understand the coding. Mikael might have something to say about this, he's worked with the engine a long time now. Mikael explained that this was due to some new EU regulations, I believe, that would make selling physical disks more problematic for him. He does, however, offer artwork to download for a DVD case well as for the DVD itself, for Shades of Black and Profound Red.

There are new rules regarding shipping, so you have to burn your own disk if you want one. Mikael have made covers for the games that can be downloaded though. EDIT. Click to reveal.. ...when I was knocked down in the tunnels (Cold Case Summer). I hate that part even now, although I know what will happen. I have been beta-testing the last two games for Mikael, but even though I beg him to tell me if there's any scary moments, he refuses to tell me! I am pretty sour about that, but what can I do? I even received one or two complaints, since it "broke the serenity of the game". That might very well be true, but if so, it added to the shock effect!
