okay - i give up !

i absolutely can not find a birdhouse to use the blacklight on, and

i have been up and down the path all afternoon.

have looked at mag's walkthrough , and accessed the in game hints - can

not move forward,

help please ,and thank you

Face the rest area that looks like a cave.
Then turn left.
Go forward twice.
On your left side (of the path) is a tree.
Look up and see the birdhouse on that tree.
Look close at it.

And here's another set of instructions I just put together:

From your map, enter the gazebo.

Go right, then go forward 10 times. Stop. You will see a birdhouse in the upper lefthand corner of the screen, attached to the tree. Use the magnifying glass to take a closer look.

i used marian's instruction this time as i was right at the first screen.

all i can say is DUH! it couldn't have been any plainer ( or bigger !)

i blame it on my glasses ,lol.

You're welcome. I have come to realize while playing Carol Reed games that you need to be very observant. And they have also taught me how observant I am - namely, not very observant at all.

hello i'm back again !

i'm having trouble finding the flower pot at gerard's old house.

i have no sense of direction in real life, never mind these places ,

any help ,please and thank you.

Enter through main door.
Enter the first room at left.
Then see an entryway to next room.
Go through to that room. Turn around and see a pot.
Look close and check that pot.

thank you - got that ok, now looking for a notebook...

think this was why i stopped playing these - too frustrating to find my

way around these creepy places...

From downstairs, go to the top of the stairs.

Then go right.

Then go forward.

Then go right.

Then go forward.

Then go left.

Standing there, look down at the floor on the lower left and you will see a tiny blue notebook. Click on it with the magnifying glass.

hmmmm. not sure how to explain this - in morty's house , consulted hints.

says i need to do something with the paper puzzle and cone shaped object

from treehouse.

giving no help for current location.

have been to treehouse ,see an object , but can't interact with it .

any ideas ?
