Good grief...I hope this isn't a sample of the entire game where someone or something is there to walk you through a conundrum, then when you do complete something there is a simple final solution. They had an ideal spot to place a nice challenging wire configuration puzzle inside that call box instead of just a simplistic pick up one wire and plug it in. I am hoping that this video is not what we will see in the final release as it seems dumbed down.

But in any case I am going to wait the "however many eons it might take" for a non Steam release to materialise - and by then "simple" might be all I'll be capable of playing !!

I think it's a safe assumption that this is an example of how you learn to use the controls and the inventory system - the tutorial level if you like. There's no way Benoit Sokal is going to put his name to something that stayed as simplistic as that first puzzle throughout.

My absolute favourite game is Syberia, but I’ll wait till the reviews come out before buying.
