On a personal note regarding game genre: While some articles are classifying it as an RPG or Action RPG, from the sound of the story, "
who must go behind enemy lines to forge an army and turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron" it sounds to me like it will play out as a Strategy RPG. The last game had some strategy elements in it as well, so it's not surprising that they would make this an army builder, but with 1 on 1 combat and such that directly impacts the outcomes.
