Syberia 3: A New Second Official Trailer Named “Story”! Highlighting the return of a key mythical character from the saga
Check out the screens here. Check out the video Here. Paris, 28 March 2017 – Microids is poised to present today a second official trailer for Syberia 3, named “story”, unveiling a little further the story and nature behind Kate Walker’s relationship with the Youkol tribe.
Together, they leave for a journey in the heart of Siberia to join the snow ostriches to their sacred lands and breeding site. An adventure punctuated by surprises, epic moments and encounters with strange characters, during which players become acquainted with Kate's fellow travellers, such as Ayawaska - the shaman of the Youkol tribe, always tag teaming with her owl - Kurk - The spiritual guide of the Youkol - or Captain Obo - proud captain of the Krystal.
During this trip, Kate will also meet up with a long-time friend, very dear to her heart ...
The enchanting music created by the composer Inon Zur perfectly illustrates the universe imagined by Benoit Sokal and sublime the mysterious atmosphere of this new trailer.

About Syberia 3:
Impersonating Kate Walker, players will benefit from a brand new way to freely explore striking landscapes and circumvent their mysteries and puzzles in ways they have not experienced before.
The story begins when Kate is found left for dead on a shore by the Youkol tribe, a nomadic people caring for their snow ostriches during migration. Trapped, prisoners in the city of Valsembor, they will have to find together a way to continue their journey in a chase against their enemies and unexpected challenges. While at the same time, Kate’s past is catching up with her…
Syberia 3 is developed by Koalabs Studio and will be available April 20 in Europe and April 25 in North America on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC / Mac. It will be fully doubled in French, English, German, Polish, Russian and subtitled in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Czech, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional. The original soundtrack of the game is handled by Inon Zur (Fallout 4, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia), already in command on Syberia 2. The game is rated PEGI 12.

OSCAR is back!  He is, but never in a million years should that have been revealed in a trailer. Imagine how much more of an impact that would have been if it had been left as a surprise. Why not just tell us the whole plot whilest your at it. Disappointinly lazy promo

I mentioned he was back long ago from a screen mj2c. And she was wearing his heart around his neck so creating another one wasn't far fetched. Not really a surprise at this point except for a full view in a video.
Kathy, it will be released on Steam to start.

Thanks Sheriff for the update I was hoping that this new Kate Walker adventure would be totally new, separate from the first two games as they ended so well but that certainly doesn't mean I am disappointed or am not excited to play. I had thought that Oscar had proved to be only a vehicle for Hans Voralberg's tired body so that he could fulfill his childhood dream and ceased to exist once he broke out of that shell, am I missing something? That shot of Kate and Oscar (supposedly) seems a bit odd...wonder if Mr Sokal has thrown us a curve?

Now I am even more intrigued...could that long time friend be Oscar or could it be Hans as only he would have the knowledge of how to rebuild the atomaton. Less than a month away from finding out...can't wait.

Okay...I don't get it, It says that Syberia 3 will release on April 20th in Europe and April 25th in North America but its a Steam release...how do they do that and why? I know that in the past with hard copy games with different distributors on the different continents it was common but this is Steam.

I believe they worded it badly. All my correspondence with them indicates a 20th release on Steam for all. I believe the 25th is for consoles.

No. It is made for gamepad, but doesn't work with all gamepads. You can play with keyboard/mouse, but controls are fussy, even with gamepad. They are continuing to work on patching the controls, but it will never be point-and-click like the first two. Even if you decide to play it, you may want to wait. In addition to the thread MaG linked to, GreyFuss has written us a nice user review http://www.gameboomers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1108981/Syberia_3__My_Unprofessional_TI strongly recommend reading a few reviews and user opinions before buying it -- especially if a point-and-click interface is important to you. Also be warned that the game ends on a cliffhanger. Kate is in a much worse situation than she was at the end of either Syberia 1 or 2. This is not the Syberia game that point-and-click fans were waiting so long for.
