I have only been playing the above game for a short while but am already stuck. I have tried all that I can within the area she has access to. I have been given the key to the outside door but it has been tampered with and a working part is now missing. I have "spoken" to all the patients and the medical staff including the doctor, but no luck. There are robot type birds and one of the men she spoke to has been given the job of looking after them and wears a key around his neck but nothing seems to conect with a way to get a replacement for the key? No walkthoughs available so on my own with this. Help please.

There's a written walkthrough here which might cover what you need, although the walkthrough has not been completed. I suggest looking at that first. Otherwise, let's wait for another player to help you. Looking at a video walkthrough on YouTube is also a possibility.

Haven't played it, but I watched part of a YouTube walkthrough. Here is a succession of hints... You will have to find a pamphlet that describes the entire key. You will not be able to fix the key yourself. You may have to talk to Kurt before you can progress. You will have to send off both the busted key and the pamphlet to the Youkol blacksmith via the owl you can see from the balcony. If you haven't found the balcony, sort of a walkway with windows, go looking for that. If you haven't fully explored the room with the interrogation chair, do that. You will have to attract the owl using a mechanical bird. You'll have to first find the key to the mechanical bird cage.

I have done as you sugested and did indeed find the brochure although I have been in the dr's office so often looking for clues. Didn't notice it before. Okay picked up the booklet and made for Kurt but I can't give it to him! When I open my inventory it does not give you the option to do that, or even examine etc. I know I am more than a bit daft here but how do I give Kurt the booklet please?

I think you need the right conversation choice, and may need the object in inventory. Kurt (Kurk?) can't fix the key. I don't think you give him the booklet, but you do have a conversation about the key and he should tell you about the Youkol messenger (the owl). Check around 16:12 to 17:56 into this playthrough for the conversation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW7L4G3BEZ0As long as you've gotten that conversation, make sure you've seen the messenger owl from the balcony and gotten the key to the mechanical bird aviary. You need to get a mechanical bird to attract the messenger owl. Then Kate can put the booklet and broken key into the owl's knapsack to send to the Youkol blacksmith.

You do have to let him see the booklet. Worked that one out earlier today, and I have passed that. Got out of the gate. Now stuck in Dr Olga's office There is a puzzle with lights on a shield (would imagine they have a pattern, tried as many permiations as I could dream up to no avail), on the wall behind a curtain and another with a match up pattern just below the hilt of a suit of armour right by the shield. Dr Olga seemed to vanish but she obviously went "through the wall" behind the light puzzle but nothing I do seems to work. Just wondering if I may be too early and have other stuff to do first. Harrumph! Anyone know what I do now please?

IIRC solving the puzzle on the hilt of the sword will give the code for the shield.

Passed the puzzles and have left the hospital. In Yukol village filtered the water and now have to get/make a pass to get out of and into place where I need to go. Stuck again let you know if I get past that.

Good to see others playing Syberia 3. I am trying to compile helpful information on this game. I've found one thing where I cannot find a clue, hint or discussion in the game that leads one to know what to do. I'll place it in a spoiler so that it doesn't give it away to those who have not yet played the game. Hopefully one of you that has played the game has an answer for me. Where or who gives us the clue that tells us that Anton is wearing the key to the aviary around his neck. Everyone just seems to go and get it without being told. I have found all the other clues to getting Kate off that floor. Hope to hear from you soon. I am about to set sail out into the lake. Cheers, Mr. Bill

I replayed the asylum area once again and found the answer. It appears to be an afterthought with Anton and Leon because we said our goodbyes and then I didn't leave, as most of us would and did. Instead I clicked on a white dot between them and that carried on more comments from both of them. Anton says: "I'm happy Dr Mangoline asked me to look after the maintenance of the Garden Aviary" That was all I could find. A better or additional choice would have been from Leon when he is sitting on a bench out front complaining that Anton fell asleep again during their game. Take care everybody. Mr. Bill

Hi, I have been slowly getting through this game not easy for me without a written walkthrough's help. However I was getting on till I had to go down and set the breakers on. The first few times I tried and failed to be quick enough. Now when I try I am missing two of the white dot hot spots, and of course it will not play without these. I have tried lots I even tried to go back but It is just the one where I talk to the captain and nothing has changed can you please help I really do not want to start again?

Thank you Jenny for pointing out that walkthrough earlier. I have found it to be very well done. Fairly easy to follow. I have been checking it for a few days now.
Cheers, Bill
