I'm embarrassed to ask, but i cannot figure out what the code is for the switch in the beginning of this game in the blue cave. It says "To OPEN...NOW use MAGIC". Frasse's note says "OPEN + NOW = MAGIC". I'm using the alphabet and numberic equivilants 1-26. I cannot get anything to add up to five digits. I saw the notice on the map in the yellow room that 0=9, but cannot connect the two. Any hints????? Thanks, Su

Tvoe, please tell me exactly where you are in the game. I have played it but I'm drawing a blank at "blue cave". I'm sorry, just don't remember it.

Tvoe are you doing the maze puzzle? If that is where you are, did you know that Gurra is a bit of a genius and can solve that puzzle for you? Just show him the piece of paper.

Oh, thank you Sue. I have a feeling that either I am brain dead or I don't know how to figure out what to do with simple things. I haven't a clue as to what figuring out that level did for me. Nor do I know what to even to next. Nothing seems to appear different. May I please have another clue as to what to do after I have pulled the lever down? Thanks, Su

Tvoe if you are where I think you are......have you checked out the adjacent room? It seems like there is a sign to the right of the door in the other room. Take it off and remove what was behind it. If you show Gurra the piece of paper, he will solve that puzzle for you. Run into the other room and see if anything has changed after you pull that lever.

Thanks, Sue. Yes, that is where I am and yes, Frasse runs into the "red" room and sees the door finish shutting. I cannot figure out how to keep the dragon door open long enough for Frasse to enter it???????

Tvoe, if you change to Gurra, and then have him kick a box that's on the floor, that should solve your problem... luck

Is it a speed thing? It seems that by the time I get to Gurra kicking the box, the door is almost shut and Gurra says it's not appropriate to kick the box?????? Am I just too slow?

Okay, ummmmm. I use Frasse to pull the lever, then run into the red room where Gurra and the box and the door are. I have to switch from Frasse to Gurra, then have Gurra kick the box. The time it takes me to run into the red room as Frasse, then switch to Gurra, then make Gurra kick the box is apparently not quick enough to get Gurra to kick the box under the door. The door is too far down by the time I get all that stuff done. Am I missing a quick move somewhere?

Marita when Frasse and Gurra were switching back and forth to get the door opened, didn't they use that yellow box like device next to the dragon door?

Yes, change from one character to another is done by using the little device(walkie talkie) taken by Frasse at ?orange room and Gurra can use the weird box right of the red door.

--- When they use those device - automatically change from one character to another.

Oh! Thanks, I had no idea. Now, again, I'm stupified. Frasse has busted out of prison and is supposed to go to the kitchen. I'm figuring that he has to do something with the prison door. Nothing that I have is working. What am I missing here, please?

Tvoe, have you talked to the other prisoner through the window of his cell? I don't think you need to do anything to the prison door once you're out... luck

Okay, then according to the walkthrough that I've been using (because my granddaughter finished my game and I don't want to go all the way back to the beginning again lol ), what you need to do is to walk to the right of the screen until you come to a door and some roses...

I guess I'm not a very good game player. I now cannot figure out what to do with the melted cheese in the big pot. Anyone have a hint?

I'm glad you're having fun with this game, Tvoe--I enjoyed what I got to play of it. But I didn't want to discourage my granddaughter when she wanted to finish it--she's the only one in my family who enjoys playing adventure games.

Have you taken that pot of melted cheese into the dining hall yet? If so, go to the right and use the flag--something should be there, or maybe come along, that you can use the pot with.

If you want a direct spoiler rather than a hint, just yell... wave

I have gone to the princess' room and found the "thingamabob", but can someone tell me what to do with it. I have looked at the book of spells in the "attic" but no luck. How do I find Gurra?

Floridagal go up to the wizard tower and find an open book. Try using the thingamabob on that book.

Floridagal, you could have a little look at the WT Jenny posted a couple of posts above yours before players come around to help.

Good luck.
