Requesting prayers for Sherri. She was diagnosed with bone cancer. Dr. said she maybe had 3 years, though I know no one should tell anyone how long they have. At her age, just over 85, they said they can't do anything. Sherri is a wonderful person.
Thank you for listening.

Thank you for all your support; now I have an updete. Spoke with Sherri a week ago and was told she was seeing a nutritionist that claimed to cured a man that had cancer and that Sherri had a fungus in her body and recommended doses of herbs, This morn, my brother messaged me that Sherri saw her family Dr. and he was appalled, but no reason why. He did say Sherri was seeing the nutritionist to lose weight. Now they are all confused, so can only wait to further updates. Please, for those who feel a nutritionist can make a diagnosis and sure ailments, be careful; listen to your Dr. and if necessary get a second opinion.

Good nutrition can't hurt, but from personal experience with a friend who went to another country for 'alternative treatment' for her cancer, I have to hope your family can encourage Sherri to continue with 'conventional' treatments also. The outcome for my friend was tragic and her lack of conventional methods until it was too late, only shortened the time we all had with her. She regretted her decision not to follow her doctor's recommended treatment.
Praying for Sherri, and for all of the family!

Oh, my goodness. I understand why her doctor was appalled. Nutrition is an important part of cancer treatment, but a nutritionist who claims to cure cancer is a complete quack. She needs to be seeing a nutritionist who knows how to deal with her conventional cancer treatments. My SIL had ovarian cancer and the cancer treatment nutritionist was crucial to her well being, but was certainly not claiming to cure cancer. If that were true, there would BE no cancer...
Good thoughts for Sheri and all of her family and friends...
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.
