I'm stuck in the cottage inside the laboratory. I've picked up all the parts and tools from the table there and fixed the generator thing...I think. BUT....the computer isn't working. How do I get the computer to work? I have a feeling that I need it for something. Shouldn't it be on or shouldn't I be able to turn it on? Won't I need it to make the machine run?

I opted NOT to chase after the Dark Being when he kidnapped Amanda, I wanted to continue roaming about the house. Maybe I should have gone after him, but I was afraid I'd die or something, and I wasn't ready for that yet! Now what?! I don't think I'm going anywhere without that computer running so that I can power up the parallel universe travel machine, or whatever it is! smile
I am REALLY enjoying this game!

Please....help me get "unstuck!"

Hi there girlgeek.......Here's a small excerpt from TomSr's walkthrough that will put you on the right track, if you have picked up all the stuff you need from the work bench:

.There was some equipment to the right as you came in that had red coils around it. Go back to it and turn on a switch inside a little door on it; the red coils start flashing. A check of the computer now shows the memory to be working.

Turn to the right of the computer monitor and open the door on a large round part of the computer. Replace the burnt electron tube with one from inventory. Replace the fuse wire beside it with a new one and use the tool to solder both ends. The computer now shows that the hardware is enabled, but there's no power.

Go back outside to the shed and turn on the power switch that wouldn't stay on earlier. Now the computer says that power is OK but that a lever and a power modulator are at fault.

Turn around to the control panel opposite the computer monitor. Turn on all eight of the switches on that panel. Then pull the left lever. The fresnel lens rises to the upper level of the lighthouse. Now the computer says the only fault is the power

I'm stuck again guys!

Got the bird plane all wound up and seemingly ready to fly, but can't get the darn safety off of the switch to the left here to take off! I assume I need to move that black piece of metal that keeps me from flipping that switch, right?

Birdmen are JERKS, by the way! Always taking what you need and beating up the equipment....real nasty little buggers!

How do I make this plane take off???

If memory serves, you don't click directly on the black metal piece, but rather on the nut that it hinges on.

Chech the "Power Gauge" on the instrument panel - the needle should be in the blue area.

Winding the crank too much would cause it to spin back to zero. Thirteen turns on the crank is just right.

Hi there, GirlGeek.......I only use 11 cranks usually with this puzzle. smile It's picky though. You might try going back over to the crank, giving it one more clockwise spin, then go back to the cockpit and hit the button again. This works for me.

Love, Witchen =O) smile

You might also be sure the canopy is closed.

I recall having to drag the mouse around in a circle to do the winding. I think the very fast spin is where you either wound it too tight (more than 13 circles) or dropped it somehow.

Pull the mouse in a clockwise circle around the circumference as if you had a hold of the crank's handle.
