Hi, here is some information about the number punch puzzle, according to MaG's walkthrough:
After 3 completed failed tries, the puzzle timer stops one minute before the best time and allows the gamer to win the game.
So it's actually possible to get through this without the need for a saved game. Having said that, I will send you one, just in case.
