I see sometimes that you send prayers to those that need it. I'm not very religious, so I'll just ask for loving thoughts instead.
One of my cats is in hospital right now. Kidney problems. It's hard to sit at home and wait, and try to be positive. But maybe if some of you send some love to him, he will feel it?
I don't know, but it can't hurt.

Sending tons of love to you and your kitty. Lots of prayers too that all works out OK. Had loads of cats with kidney stuff and had good results a lot. Sometimes it's just a change in diet that does the trick. Hope all goes well. Hugs.

I believe in the power of positive thoughts and prayers so I am sending both. I just lost my 14 year old dog a few weeks ago and my other 11 year old is doing poorly. I feel your pain.

I want to thank all of you for your nice words. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. He was a lot worse than yesterday, so not much to do than, well you know.
It's not my first pet that I've said goodbye to, but he is the pet I've had the longest. 14 years will leave a mark, that's for sure. I have his brother still with me, so we're not all alone here at home.
Sad day, but nothing to do but live and cry through it. Again, thanks for the support. It really meant a lot.

14 years is a long time. I lost one of my cats three years ago, and he had been with us for 16 years. He developed kidney problems as well. I know how hard it is to lose your cat, and how painful. I am very sorry.

So sorry for the loss of your precious kitty. I know the feeling all too well. Had cats since I was 4 years old. Never without one or two or some ridiculous number at times. Always hurts when they have to leave.

Cats are difficult. Never does what I want, or what they need. Just like me.
It is a comforting, somewhat, to know that he's not in pain anymore. He can be with his two other brothers now.
Just before the end, he laid down so I could pet him. Very beautiful moment in all the sadness.

So sorry for your loss RebKean. I've been through many myself. My longest was 17 years and he developed a tumor on his mouth, but I've lost a couple to kidney problems including that ones sister a week or so after him. She belonged to my brother but we live in the same house.
