I just know I'm doing wrong!
I'm in the ship and I've been to all the "regulation points", I have inserted the cross over chip into the place near the engine door where it says "insert". But I can't get into "non regulation mode" so that I can go to the "Frame in the Sky". Heeeeelp!

Hi inferno,

After you inserted the crossover chip, pull the lever to transfer control of the plane to the machine pilot. You'll be asked to do another pre-flight check.
Again, you need to switch to non-regulation mode. Once you do that, you'll go to the frame and move to the next segment of the game.

If it still doesn't work, holler.

I put the chip in but it won't let me go over to non regulation mode.
ooppps! Is it because (I've been doing this one segment since midnight last night)I originally put in the chip, then sat down and started the preflight check and selected "The frame in the Sky" myself??? I didn't know to pull that red lever first ex:

• insert chip
• sit down in pilot's chair
• pull red lever

....etc

You see ....Dummy me! I didn't do the above...oh noooooooooo. I didn't even see that red lever at all. I tried to load it all myself. Now when I try to do it over that "smart%#^%$* computer voice keeps telling the co-pilot on me! She keeps snitchin' that I tried to access a non regulation destination! Hellllllllllllllllppppppppppp Maggers! I'm desperate! How do fix this mess?

Wait --- found this hint - Lift the red-handled lever at the left to transfer control to the machine pilot. To prepare the ornithopter for non-regulation flight, press button D-1 at the prompt, then disobey orders and press button D-2.

I'd like to help you out, Obsidian is such a wonderful game, but I'm not sure I understand how or why you're stuck. Did you ignore the voice? You're a rebel, remember. You've got to fool the voice. Did you trap the red light? If you did all that and you're still stuck, ignore my voice.

Wohooo! I did it, thanks, ladies! that D2 did it! It started the sequence I needed to play the "capture game". This game is very cool. I love it.
