I've just finished my new Lighthouse walkthrough, in English and in Dutch. Both versions of the walkthrough are now completely available on my site at www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl

Your English walkthrough of Lighthouse – The Dark Being inspired me to buy the GOG (Windows) version of it as well. When I installed it, I found it runs under ScummVM and so I have copied the game to run on my Linux ScummVM machine.

I am getting on well with it thanks to your walkthrough but I did also take the opportunity to download your save files. The readme attached to the save files indicates they should go up to .037 but I have repeatedly downloaded them and can only find up to .022 (and .999). Perhaps, something has gone astray.

I emailed Louis and he confirms my findings about the missing save files. They belong to the final chapter of the game and he forgot to include them in the zip file. Unfortunately, he no longer has those save files but he has kindly suggested that he would play the final chapter again to re-create them. He is rightly proud of all the walkthroughs in the collection on his website so he tells me he is removing the offending zip file, pending its replacement in due course.

Glad it will be solved.

Thanks to Louis' hard efforts today, this has been sorted out now and you will find 36 save games in the lighthouse_saves.rar file, taking you right towards the end of the game.

Marinus_Louis mailed me today, he has finished an alternative walkthrough for: Lighthouse The Dark being.
