It is with a very heavy heart that I post the news that Gail passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family and her loyal 4 legged companion Nina. She fought a long hard battle of liver and brain cancer and is now at peace.

Most of you do not know that Gail opened her home to many foster children and adopted them, she still had one young daughter at home who will be cared for with her older siblings. She was an extremely big hearted and wonderful woman.

Rest in Peace Gail. YOu will be greatly missed in life, on GameBoomers and in Joe's Diner. There will always be a seat for you.

She remained so positive and cheerful until late February when she received the word that it had spread to her brain. She did not want the news posted. She really was a very special woman.

I had a cousin who survived long cancer for a year and a half, which was 6 months longer than her doctor expected, when it moved to her brain she was gone withing days.

Even though I didn't know GBC/Gail as long as other boomers she was very lovely too chat with.
It's very sad that we've lost a beautiful person and a from what I've read a very wonderful mother, may she rest in peace for forever:)

Oh Ana, I am so saddened by the news of Gail's passing. She was a shining star here at Gameboomers. I will miss her in Joe's Diner too. She was a special lady with a kind heart. May she rest in peace.
