My beloved Toby joined the pack at the Rainbow Bridge in January. I've been looking for the right dog to adopt and I believe I found him. He's 12 years old and has been kenneled at a rescue service for many years. He's mixed breed, of course and seems to be quite a gentleman. He's coming for a home visit on the 14th and if all goes well, he will join us at that time. His name is General. Apparently when he joined the kennel crew, he whipped them all into shape and sets the tone for new arrivals. My crew needs another alpha dog! I find his name amusing. We have Daisy (rottweiler) and Lucas (fox terrier), so now we will have Daisy Duke, Luke Duke and General Lee. We've become the Dukes of Hazzard!
