The Kickstarter has rewards as well as codes for digital copies of the games.

I have MYST and Riven and MYST 5 from GOG, but 3 and 4 haven't been available for a while so I'm excited!

Wow.. Now I have to figure out how to convince my wife that I need to do this. It might be difficult since she knows I have all the games in their original boxes (The the books....and the comics.....and stuff!)

Met their goal in 8 hours. I hope that's enough to signal to my friends at Cyan that there's a longing to play in the Myst worlds and these style of games.
I pledged for the book with the LCD.

They more than met the goal so I guess people love this game series!

yes I backed it for the linking book, I have digital version of all the games except for myst 3 and 4 which I have the masterpiece version on disk but they seem to run on windows 10.

Haze - be sure to get the Linking Book. Then you can beam off to another land when you get into a spat with the Mrs.

I think they will go over 2.5 million

And more good news for Mac users! It will also be ported to the Mac!

Iwish that I could of backed it to but I couldn't having a lot of health issues medication is expensive. so if gog games gets the anniversary collection then I might be able to afford it then anyways so happy that they were so successful.dianne

I am amazed at the total as Cyan was. So my uneducated, no nothing breakdown

$810,127 for Taxes and Fees
$500,000 for the cost of running the Kickstarter, the amazing incentives, shipping and the creation of the updated games along with the extra content.
$1,500,000 profit for making us more games?

I know...I have no idea of what I am talking about but one can dream of more games including a new Myst right?

If anyone caught the Live countdown and party feed Rand and the Cyan team had earlier today, he pretty much said there will be a new Myst game as well as updating the Myst Online: Uru Live. He also replied to a question about if Firmament would be playable in other than VR and he said if Firmament is made they are shooting for totally VR but things could change. I got the feeling that it may not be completed. I also get the feeling that everyone loves working at Cyan.
