It is not a traditional point & click but you play with WASD buttons and you stear with the mouse. I like the environments and the gameplay but there was also somthing I didn't like so much. There are very much teleportations and take to much time. I like the game but you need, like Marian said, good system requirements. Happy gaming Lion_1251

The game settings let you choose between a Free-Roam mode (WASD) and a Point & Click mode. I've experimented with the Point & Click mode, but found it less immersive. I haven't finished the entire game, but so far the exploration aspect, high-grade graphics, challenging puzzles and involved story have all made it enjoyable. The system requirements are pretty high, but I've gotten by with somewhat reduced resolution & graphic settings.
I point, therefore I click.

I enjoyed Obduction but it's the type of game you have to pay close attention to and take notes throughout - at least I did. Once you obtain the map of the world you're in it starts to fit together. I have to admit I buy games like this - similar to Myst - because I enjoy puzzle type games without bloodshed and am finding more independent games to buy. This is a trailer for the game just in case you haven't seen it yet. Robert

I "think" you can play this in point and click mode too, oldbroad.

Now that you say it, I remember that in Myst V. It was pretty awful.

I finally felt able to try the game again. Free roam is definitely better than point and click. At least I can control my speed of movement that way. Played 45 minutes today. This is going to be a loong game . I have the voice volume up all the way but can barely hear them talking. Have to hold my headphones pushed into my ears and read the text to hear them. Crazy!
