Hello, I have another question. I have C drive, E drive and F drive on my computer. I know what E drive is used for and C drive is operating system, right? What is F drive for? You can tell by this question how computer dumb I am, but I have to ask. Jenny100 set me up with two link to help with my first problem, but here I am again.

Windows does use drive "C" as your Operating System hdd (Hard Disk Drive) . Drive "F" , at least in my case , is used as expandable storage , such as a jump , or "thumb" drive .

On my Win7 machine ....
I have "C" as my hard drive.
"D" as a big second drive - mainly used for games.
And "F" for a large external drive.

Depending on where you are looking at your drives, there is usually a description with it. I have an SD photo card in the reader right now and it is listed as a drive; I also have an exterior HDD plugged in and that is also listed as a drive. It should also list how much drive space is available.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Mad, Glad you mentioned Drive D. I forgot I have that drive also where I install my games. When I look in File Explorer, the folder is empty. When you look at Properties, the drive is almost full. I do not know what is there.

Mad, Glad you mentioned Drive D. I forgot I have that drive also where I install my games. When I look in File Explorer, the folder is empty. When you look at Properties, the drive is almost full. If you're installing games to your drive D , there should be files and folders there. Note that with a large drive that's almost full of files and folders, Windows might lag before displaying them, and the drive might appear to be empty at first.
