Anyone else remember back in the early 2000's, when Disneys Toontown was released?
It was subscription based.
Then it sorta died and a lot of ads ruined the game.
Disney then gave up on the game and no more Toontown.

It's now back, but not from Disney.
Today it's called Toontown Rewritten and is totally free.

A Group of fans of the game took it over and cleaned it up a bit and released it again a few years back.
They pay for it out of their own pockets and do NOT accept any donation at all.
They hope disney will pick it up again at some point.

You can make as many accounts as you like. Which mean, you can have as many toons as you like.
Of course that also means, you'll have to install the game for each account
