Hi Boomer friends, thanks so much for your ongoing prayers and good thoughts. Hope you are all well and having a great day. I went into hospital on Aug 27th to be assessed to see how bad my leg damage was. On Tuesday 28th I was sent for a CT scan which showed extesive blockage of femoral arteries and it was agreed to carry out an amputation on my right leg (below the knee). On Saturday 1st September I suffered a stroke which has affected my vision along with weakness of my left hand. As I have to be on Aspirin therapy for 14 days, surgery has been postponed and I have been sent home today. Hopefully my op will go ahead before the end of the month. Continuing to ask for your prayers. Love to you all. Mary

I hate to hear you will lose the leg and that you had a setback with the stroke. I have a feeling once you get past this surgery, you are going to be on the UPhill side of things! My BIL had both of his legs removed and it never slowed him down a bit. He was told he was he** on wheels on his red scooter!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.
