Thanks for the birthday wishes Boomers. I took the whole day off work just because I'm old and I can afford to. What are they going to do - fire me? I retired 20 years ago. To celebrate, we went to an escape room. Sorry folks but we didn't find the vials of poison so 100,000 people will die. We were so close - needed another 10 minutes, but you're only allowed 60 minutes. (There were too many chemistry references.) Escape rooms are my new passion. They are so much like the HO/Adventure games from Big Fish, except you play them live. We went to Cracker Barrel for supper afterwards as consolation for our defeat. My birthday was a little bittersweet this year. My sister died last month and we just had her funeral services last Friday. She always made me a birthday cake, so it was a kind of sad this year. It's just the first of many things we have to get used to doing without her.
