I am trying to apply the cheats for Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb. It involves adding a line to one of it's files (cheats:1). When I add the file and try to save it I get a window saying I need permission to change the file. How do I get permission to do this?????

See if these steps help...

a) Right-click on the file which you’re unable to access and select Properties.
b) Click on ‘Security’ tab and under ‘Group or user names’ click on ‘Edit’.
c) Click on ‘Add’ and type ‘everyone’.
d) Click on ‘Check names’ and then click ‘OK’.
e) Select ‘everyone’ and under ‘Allow’ select ‘Full control’ and click on ‘Apply’ and Click ‘Ok’.

To edit game files like this, I always run Notepad as Administrator, then use that instance of Notepad to browse to the file's location, open the file, edit it, and save it.
