Wow Marian. That was fast - and thorough! I didn't expect to see the list posted here, was just wondering if there WAS a list somewhere to look at . I'll have to go through this to see which ones I have (just out of curiosity). It is weird though! And yes, just taking a quick glance, some of them are quite new.

i have some of the games listed that i have not yet purchased in my game manager . will we still be able to buy them? Being as they have been removed from the website, I imagine that you will get some kind of error message if you try to purchase them through the Game Manager. No harm in trying, though. I don't have an answer to your questions, 8dognight. I wish I did. On a Facebook forum for fans of Big Fish Games, many of us asked to please let us know in advance from now on if a purge like this is going to take place again; that way, we could buy titles that we were interested in before they went bye-bye. A representative from Big Fish said she would send this feedback to the appropriate team.

How do you have games in your game manager if they have not been purchased already? Are they demos that were downloaded?

Thanks Marian. I've never downloaded a Big Fish demo so I don't know how that works in the game manager. Do they just stay there forever if you don't end up purchasing the game or can you delete them or something?

Why haven't you ever downloaded a demo? Just curious.

Why haven't you ever downloaded a demo? Just curious. Thanks Sparkle. I was going to say "uninstall" instead of "delete" but then I thought, well, uninstalling a game still leaves the game in your manager, so I changed my wording thinking that the demo might still stay there even if you uninstalled it. I don't know why it would but... I guess I just don't see a reason to download the demo. The game will either work or it won't (and maybe work through the demo but not later on). I'll like it or I won't, but I'll most likely play the whole game even if I don't like it much. Also, being so far behind in playing the games I have, I don't want to play a part of a game that I may never get back to for who knows how long. I once tried a demo of an adventure game because I wasn't sure I'd be able to play it due to motion sickness and the type of puzzling in it, but casual games don't cause those problems.

oldbroad: When you uninstall a demo in the Game Manager it disappears from the Game Manager.

BigFish does send out notices prior to deletion but only to affiliates. We aren't allowed to post it or give a headsup or we lose our affiliate status. Ana

Interesting, Marian. As you know, I maintain a database of all BF casual games I have Demo-ed or purchased, and my comment on each. Reading through that list of games deleted by BF, most of the deleted games were ones I passed on buying after checking out the Demo. The only exceptions were a few of the Sable Maze games (I played and liked three enough to slot them for future replay). It may be that they maintain an inventory of how many people buy each game, and simply are cutting the dead wood periodically? It would make sense.
I did not read every response to this thread, but am wondering if games that were deleted from the BF site would mean I could not go back and replay them? I assume the answer is "Yes, those would no longer be available for replay."
