I do not know if anyone here plays Destiny 2, but I have a problem with a stalled update download. This is what the process says-Downloading 77.15 MB remaining @ 0/s. I have tried the suggestions at Blizzard and Battlenet and none of them work. I can never play the game again if the update is not completed. I am really desperate. If anyone has any thoughts on the matter, please let me know. Now the update does not even download, just says initializing, but download never starts.

I don't know if this will be of any use, but I found this on YouTube. Apparently you are far from the only one to have had this problem. People in the comments section are saying that his fix worked.

Have you sent Blizzard or Battle.net a support ticket? Not the you will get any answers, but it might be worth a try.

Does the remaining @ 0/s mean it has already downloaded? I assume it's not in your download folder? It looks like Marian's link indicates you are not alone.

@ 0/s means download speed is 0 bits per second

The problem may be on their end if everyone is trying to download this update.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and suggestions. I can not get anything to work, so I guess my Destiny 2 playing days are over.

It looks like Destiny 2 is moving from Battle.net to Steam on Oct. 1st. You can read the details (and how to transfer your account) on Bungie's website at : https://www.bungie.net/7/en/PCMove -- maybe this is a good time to do that?

In the meantime, you can try emptying the Battle.net cache: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/34721

Hello Demosthenes, I have already moved my account to Steam, just waiting for Oct. 1st. I hope Steam will be better. Battle.net is a pain. Thank you for your time and suggestion. I tried this yesterday, no luck.
