Thanks Bea, Jenny and Mulawa1 for the heads up on TallyHo's walkthrough on Magnetic. Because of it I was able to master the bowling ball puzzle. Have some more to do yet. Thanks again.

Wow! Just sent out this week's jigsaws with heaps of new ones going out! If you put your hand up for the trial and your e-mail hasn't arrived yet please e-mail me directly via my website. I've had one bounce so far with @earathlink.net in the address which I suspect is meant to be "earthlink.net" Best wishes to all the new subscribers ... Peter www.mulawa.net

Peter, I have the PJ icon on the desktop. To download Roses are Red puzzle, do I just download it to the desktop or select the PJ file?

Clare, if you don't want to see all the pieces at one time hit O which moves them all to the page where you can select them and place them into boxes and only bring that box back to the main picture screen. I hope that makes sense. To get to the screen where you can select the pieces and put them into boxes you hit B. Of course I do the jigsaws the simplest way LOL I know there are some who refuse to even look at the picture until they have completed the puzzle and also don't want to rotate the jigsaw pieces so that they are all the correct way up. but they are experts and I am not.

I'm having a wonderful time with these puzzles--the doll one was a bear to get finished, but today's seems to be easier. I have a hunch this will be the way it will always be, some easier than others. About the only shortcut I use is to isolate the edge pieces. I always start a jigsaw puzzle by picking out all the edges, but with the whole puzzle in such a small place, it's very difficult to see which ones are edges, so I reluctantly take a shortcut. Peter, are we all getting the same puzzle each week, and if so, is there any way we can access the old ones that other subscribers have already received...

I like mine with no shortcuts also & with the pieces in random order, Jenny. I have used that edge feature a few times, but prefer to do it all myself. I love jigsaws, especially the photos of people and places, pretty landscapes. I work on them whenever I feel like a break. I think you might be getting them from the beginning, Jenny, the same order that we all did when we started so you are accessing the old ones. At least it seems so from some of your descriptions of the images? Melanie Melanie

Oh, so everyone doesn't get the same puzzle each week, depending on when they subscribed? So far, besides the roses and dolls, I've gotten a horse race picture, one of a booth with all sorts of things for sale, and the one on Tuesday was too hard to describe. Are those the beginning puzzles?
I'm having a ball--if anyone enjoys jigsaws and hasn't tried Peter's program, I strongly encourage you to check it out...

Clare, yes it is coincidental - and Peter as I said has these jigsaws worked out months in advance - it was really spooky because one of them was a picture of the Vatican City and we got that one the week the Pope died. Burpee - yes I was thinking of the "ball" puzzle - which is so hard and yet was designed by a non jigsaw player and looks incredibly easy.

Thanks for the information, everyone. The one I got yesterday looks very much on the "challenging" side!! One thing I've been wondering--is there a puzzle using the picture of the castle in Gabriel Knight 2? That would be beautiful...

Jenny, I don't think so - Peter does use quite a few from his games. But he is always happy to have suggestions for jigsaws - particularly for example if you have any photographs that you think would be ideal

Uh oh, Bea. That's just asking to be swamped by everyone's favorite cute pictures. I love the different shaped pieces. They make the puzzles so much fun and much more challenging. I always play with the pieces randomized and in no order. I love to discover the edge pieces hidden away somewhere. I think my favorite might be the puppets. They are so interesting! Melanie
