The Witch's Yarn runs on Macintosh. Heck, it was built on a Macintosh, PowerBook to be specific. It's a game designed to introduce adventure gaming to novices. Very easy to pick up and play. Challenges ramp up slowly. Good story. find it at: www.mousechief.com

Good info, Jenny. THANK YOU! I haven't played that one in a long time, but liked it enough to play it again.

I had trouble installing Circle of Blood on my iMac in 9.2, but I have yet to try it on my laptop that has 9.1. I have The Beast Within, Under a Killing Moon, and Phantasmagoria but haven't tried to play them yet.
We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.

Doing some kind of webpage on what will play on what is on my list of things to think about doing.
What would be good to know is how generally useful that's going to be, and whether people would help doing it.

Hello BeaSong,
What I'm thinking about is having a database of games which people can edit over the web to say Game X works / doesn't work on Platform Y OS version Z with a comment.
I think one might need an authorisation scheme to control who could edit.
The best explanation would be to actually set it up. If anyone else creates such a web database I'll quite happily applaud them!
Regards, Peter.

Oh, good idea! Let's hope that this can happen! I wouldn't know how to set it up, but I could sure contribute after that.
