Thanks Stigmamax I have discovered why I couldn't solve this and its mostly do to the game and what the player has to do outside the game. Let me explain within this Spoiler Tag. I had struck every key on my Keyboard in an effort to figure out how to move the tiles in this Terrace Puzzle including all the Number Keys at the top of my Keyboard. Nothing I tried moved the Tiles.
After your Post above...I tried those numbered Keys again and of course they didn't do anything just like before. Then it dawned on me that maybe I should try the Number Keys on the right side of the Keyboard and nothing happened with them either. I have to say that I have Never used those Keys mostly because I am not a typist as I just peck with one finger. I asked my daughter who is a master typist about those keys as I have seen her use them all the time and it was her that said I had to Unlock them for them to work.
Needless to say that is what my problem was which is something outside the game and now I see that how you showed the 2 4 6 8 Keys arrangement on the table coincides with how those Keys are arranged on my Keyboard. Its a very clever clue now but I wonder how many others that don't use that side of the Keyboard will also have trouble. Aren't there some compact Keyboards that don't have those Keys on them or am I mistaken. So I have advanced and wow....the information and places to visit has increased immensely. I love it On another note: You may want to use the Spoiler Tag option here at GB so a player who comes here for help in one area of the game isn't spoiled by what they may read in a Post about an area of the game they haven't reached yet while looking for help where they are stuck.

I gotta say if this game is giving you pause.... might stop me cold! And yes you are correct some do not have the side numbers.

stigmamax, both of my laptops one is a Razer Gaming laptop does not have a side number pad...

I wouldn't bother changing the game Stigmamax. Because I don't use that part of the Keyboard I would imagine most do and they would probably figure out the clever clue on the right side of the table top. I have a Desktop and use a small cordless Keyboard and it does have that number pad on the right so I have no excuse. I love the game and hope you have ideas for another as you have a talent for this.

Please don't mis-understand, just because I didn't get something doesn't make this game bad or hard. I really don't want to give anyone that idea...this is a fantastic game and so far I would recommend it to anyone who loves the first person games like that of Myst . The game is very inexpensive ($5.99) so why not give it a try. There is also a free Demo to give it a try first.

I I love the game and hope you have ideas for another as you have a talent for this. The next game is already in my head for some time. It will be much bigger and will be even closer to Myst. Cyan can start to shake! :-) Cutish : version 2.1.3 is approaching. I think it will be the last version.

Oldbroad, yes I do have arrow keys but I don't think that they would work unless there is an option page where you can change the keys that are used.

Not that many laptops have the full number pad keyboard. So, that might be something to keep in mind as a lot of people only used laptops for gaming.

hi! the only i found for recognize christian , was 7 letters long, can also spell with 6 letters, but it will not work, answer bad code, i will not write the symbol

I understood it was the fish. Greek Latin. it is spelled in four variants.
2 is 7 letters
2 is 6 letters
tried both combinations with those with 6 letters.
Got bad code on both.

When I started testing codes, I tested "cutish"
got the answer "is too obvious" something similar.
tried other combinations, answer: bad code.
tested again, "cutish" got answer: bad code.
it may become endless loop after the first cutish attempt.
it may be a little flaw in the program.
have not jumped back to the right place in the code.
everything you enter becomes bad code
Attention! this is just one thought I have. I know how easy it is to miss jumping back to the right place in the loop
