There are two games that I installed and never finished and finally uninstalled.
1. Light and Darkness. Boring and confusing.
2. City of Lost Children. I didn't like anything about it.
Then there was Koala Lumpur which had an arcade scene in it that was beyond me so I quit the game and forever banished it to my stack of unfinished never to play again games.

Yup, OLAD by far. The whole game is a timed sequence. The only game I have yet to complete. I take the free tours to practice that level and then play like [blip] when it counts. I almost gave up on American Mcgee's ALICE,until I used the give all and God modes. No such cheats with OLAD. Hey, The Crystal Key was like a prom date that your buds hooked you up with. It sounded good at the time and looked great. How much did I spend?

I know many people will disagree with me, but Blackstone Chronicles is my choice. It was so depressing and the ending gave me no joy.

I absolutely loved Blackstone Chronicles, but I agree that parts of it were sad and morbid. I tend to like adventure games with morbid or strange themes, though. My pick for the game I would never recommend is the one where you are in the castle and you can't carry around all of your inventory, so you have to store it in chests scattered around in various rooms. The inventory irritated me so much that I not only never finished the game, but I've blocked the name from memory! I think it may be The Messenger, but I'm not sure.

For my money it is Syd's favorite game Kofun. Of course we cannot count the Scroll until she finished it. LOL

1. Bureau 13 (possibly the worst game ever made) 2. Arthur's Knights (too buggy) 3. The Final Cut (lousy continuity) 4. William Shatner's TekWar (horribly done)
morgenes (also on GameTZ)
(Playing) Syberia (PC), D&D Heroes, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (Xbox), Simpsons: Hit & Run (PS2)

It is a great thread Rusty (*)
Well let's see, so many games to pick from....
Star Trek Borg - literally a 3 hour game.
Urban Runner: sister to Fork In The Tale. Run in first person with bad camera angles. Run into locker rooms, old buildings, really ugly torn up places. Hear yourself out of breath over and over. Die - re-load - die take game and throw out of window. Catch breath - feel better.
Night Trap: brother to the above, all part of large disfunctional game family.

I cannot think of ANY game that I hated so much that I would tell anyone else "FORGET ABOUT IT"! But if you want to know a game or two that I hated I can tell you that = The Ward, terribly frustrating trying to disconnect that lazer maze and open that door, so much so that I quit, uninstalled and sold it to 'get it outta here'!.
AND Shivers II, just could not get the hang of what to do and do it faster in that canyon, tried to manage the placement of those Bajo sticks I found in the Motel office and after about 100 false starts and tries I gave up on this one too and sold it off.....too bad cause Shivers I is one of my favorite games.
there are probably others I did not like much and may have played to the end but ended up hating, but cannot remember what they are now. Love, Betty Lou

Okay. I've succumbed. No games I actualy hate so far, but then I haven't played as many as some here. If all my played games were set out and I had to pick my strongest to weakest candidates, then my two weak picks would EASILY be ; 'Road To India' - for being far too short and far too easy. . . . . but the clear loser . . . . 'Mystery of the Druids' . . . . . . because it was a good game completely ruined by the nonsensically repetitive conversation trees. To find out if you DIDN'T need to speak to a person again you had to click through the whole previous conversation again and again and . . . .. For me, this was a good game that became a poor game due to this. Gelert.
