Unfortunately as I needed to take a unexpected break from Game boomers due to part-caring for my Mother, who even though I love her very much - she can be a absolute handful.

Hi Ana , Oh thanks very kind of you & sorry for worrying you. Luckily where we live we're pretty safe when it comes too fires - For a while though it was pretty scary especially for all the people and animals who live/lived in that region of Australia NSW etc, also we were constantly getting smoke blowing over from the fires and red soil in the rain and just about covering the concrete outside.
Now due to the Virus - it's been very tough for myself and family including Mum too but it's not just us - There's a lot of people all over the world in similar situations for Eg. The supermarkets aren't fully stock and people hoarding toilet paper + essentials and meat.
Despite this It's good to be back on here & chatting with you again - thank you

Hiya Marian Sorry it got pretty hectic here for a while and still helping Mum sort things out. My sister and I take turns visiting her which isn't easy as we both live far from her but what makes it hard is one moment she's alright and the next thing know - she gets angry for silly reasons for Eg: If she saw me on my mobile/ internet purchasing or past posting on here, she'd get upset if my full attention wasn't on her....so lately when I visit her I would leave certain things till I went to my room.

Hello TainedFury It's "so" good to see you again ... I totally missed your post last Monday I was hoping we'd see you again. I'm glad you and your sister are working together. I had the same distance issue when helping my mom and dad...a 16 hour one way trip. Luckily, when the need for daily support was needed one of my brothers who lived in the same area took a break from life and provided 24/7 care.

I hope life with your mom gets better

I wish you the best in your journey with your mom as it can be frustrating at times.

Hang in there. I had a similar situation with my dad. Soot used to spend weekends with him so I could catch a break. You are being a blessing, but do try to take care of yourself as you can. Gentle hugs
