I have reached chapter 3 and am searching the library. I survived one attack but the second attack keeps killing me. I am using the keyboard to play and see the E symbol which I press repeatedly over and over but still get killed. It also shows a white hand in a circle so I have tried using the E with the left mouse button and also trying the space bar. None of this is working I just keep getting killed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get past dying? Thank you for any help. Have finally gotten past this area and now in chapter 4- part 4. I think I may have run into a glitz in my game. I have gone down the well, wandered around, found monsters in crypt area that I will have to bypass by opening certain gates. Haven't done that yet as I know I need to find and pick up a rusty key in one of the rooms. Found the room but no matter how I look at where the key should be I don't get the prompt - rusty key - pick up. It acknowledges a cross and coins (which I don't need) but won't show the icon for getting the rusty key. I have watched the u-tube walk through over and over and it seems simple enough but no prompt in my game. I don't know if I can proceed without that key. If I leave the area I am thinking I will be stuck continuing on with the game without that key. Did anyone else have this issue in the game? I have posted on the Steam discussion site but no responses as yet. I even uninstalled my game and re-installed it thinking it would perhaps show me the key with the re-install. But no that didn't work either. I even had my grandson have a look for me and he couldn't get a prompt for the key either. We tried mouse and keyboard which I use, then he tried using a controller. Still nothing. I am completely stumped. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Linda, there's a full playthrough of the game on YouTube - I realize that probably won't help, but it might be worth checking out just to see what's up during the library search.

Hey Linda, what is that you are trying to do when you are killed? Besides trying not to be killed I mean.

I haven't played the game, but from some of the videos I've seen, it seems like certain actions require some kind of pre-requisite before they can be done. Is there something you're trying to get at when you're attacked and what/who is attacking you?

Glad to hear you are moving on - it sounds pretty difficult.

I couldn't get through episode 4 as I ran out of characters. Even playing at the simplest level I tried re-playing it several times and returning as Daniel died each time.
