Darkling Room's Silent Night will be coming home to your computer for Christmas! Check out the official website here.Spent the last few days with this fella (Nigel Danvers) , and he’s looking forward to carrying on his Christmas adventure, Silent Night - Now in traditional point and click style. Coming to Steam and Shadow Tor Store ASAP next month. 👻🏚
Lots of ghosts, goth horror and evil in this one, as well as the plague and timeslips for Nigel to ‘our time’, a dark Tudor past, a pleasant Easter in the 1950’s, and a horrific future vision. Decisions in-game are everything. Nothing is what it seems, in this return to Northfield Church, last seen in The Lost Crown. Nanny Noah, the Rector, Mr.Russet and Nigel Danvers star in this Festive full adventure, as well as some ghastly characters from the past. 👻
Blackenrock in the Spring, talking to Matt, so this Yuletide ‘Ghost story for Christmas’ will tide us over and provide some spooky (and scary) encounters for all you ghost hunters. About Silent Night: A ghost hunting gothic adventure, set in an isolated Church on Christmas Eve. Trapped in a time loop, the main hero (Nigel Danvers) encounters ghosts from various periods of history, from the Black Death to the near future. Use the gadgets and surveillance to learn the ghosts are also forced to live out Christmas Eve over and over. Anger and vengeance turns to pleading. To escape the trap, Nigel must make a dreadful decision, he can exorcise only one spirit, leaving the rest damned forever.
"We're stuck here, Christmas Eve, on and on...one endless night..."
It's the middle of Winter, in rural Anglia. A bitter snow storm has driven the country folk to the warmth and safety of their household fires, as a bleak midwinter drowns the world in white. The storm has disturbed the spirits, the ghosts of Northfield from ages past, they wander the Carrion Woods and long forgotten graveyards. Some are lost souls, damned by actions long ago, whereas others seek revenge and retribution. Happy Gaming!

Update on Silent Night "Still polishing Silent Night, and making a few cosmetic changes, on request. I wouldn’t want to launch with any bugs. 😬I think Matt and the publishers would like a quiet Christmas too, this year, so we’re going to chill and launch this one in the New Year. The story runs through until Easter, with a theme of a never ending thaw, so I’m still happy. It’s likely a few copies will sneak out, as I’d like press and a few fans to take a look. I’ll come up with a decent competition, likely involving a quiz and treasure hunt over the festive period. If it descends into Zoom meetings doing TLC charades so be it. How do you act out ‘Nanny Noah’? 😁 So, for now, peace to all. We’ll see you soon and hope you have a nice holiday. Jonathan" Ana

Matt has been ill and was hospitalized briefly, he is working on gaining health so it may be delayed a bit.
