TLC OP BAAG Specialist Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 9,464 Crazy Town	I could use all the prayers I can get on Monday the 11th. I was in the hospital Christmas week for an abscessed colon (diverticulitis). And am scheduled for a 9" colon resection on Monday. It's been a rough few weeks and trying to get my strength back, for the surgery. Please say a prayer on Monday, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you! For any friends who are also on Facebook, my twin Judy will post updates by tagging me. <3 I am in love with Norman Reedus/Daryl Dixon <3

It's been over 5 years now and no more problems and I can eat anything!!! Good luck. My best friend had this same surgery, then a six-month colostomy while her insides healed, then a reconnection again. This was four years ago, and she recovered beautifully even though she was 68 when the emergency and surgery occurred. It makes me feel confident that you will be fine. Just take one step at a time.
