Did you download this from Steam?? If you have the cloud backups checked you might be able to get it from there.

Is this game on a disk that you installed or a download? If you deleted a game save file on your hard drive, I'm afraid there is no way to get it back. But, as Winfrey says, if you downloaded from Steam or GOG, there may be cloud saves.

Drac, I've never heard of this before - would you ever be able to get deleted game files back if they weren't deleted from a downloaded game?

Armand7 here..............I downloaded Memorrah from Steam.

Not impossible, but it would depend on whether the section where the game was located on the HDD had been overwritten.

Armand, are you connected to Steam when you play the game? Have you tried starting the game to see if there are saves on the Steam cloud?

If the saved games aren't in the Steam cloud, then Recuva is always worth a try. I've never had great luck with it, but I know some people have.

I am not connected to Steam when I play, in so far as I start game thru shortcut icon. I don't know anything about Steam Cloud, and how to check

I right clicked Memorrah game in steam library........
clicked on local files........
size of local files: 1.90 GB on drive C:
In Backup and Restore the game Memorrah is checked.......
Backup distribution is (x86) files....
Backup file name: Memorrah....
File size: I can check CD (640mb) ; DVD (4.7gb) ; custom ***** I don't know what to check????

I was able to get into Steam Cloud, but the game is not listed. Oh, well, maybe I'll just start over..................... thx to you, Draclvr & Winfrey, for trying to help. appreciate it

Just .... Maybe.. Did you check your Recycle Bin, if you haven't cleaned it out, it might be still there, if so, just highlight the files in question and Hit Restore.
